Transgender Day of Remembrance 2011

Raleigh • Candlelight Vigil at the Capitol Building
November 20, 2011 • 5:30 - 7:00 pm
The vigil will take place on the grounds of the State Capitol building in
downtown Raleigh followed by a gathering of light snacks
and refreshments at the LGBT Center of Raleigh.

Durham • Transgender Day of Remembrance and Night of Expression
November 20, 2011 • 6:00 - 10:00 pm
Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham

Names of those lost will be remembered, followed by a night of expression
with live performances by
Awakening C.H.A.N.G.E., Sam Peterson, Humble Tripe
Food provided by Durham’s famous food trucks.
$5 suggested donation
All proceeds to benefit the LGBT Center’s new Trans Initiative.
