LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 120 million members and growing rapidly. LinkedIn connects you to your trusted contacts and helps you exchange knowledge, ideas, and opportunities with a broader network of professionals. Basic membership in LinkedIn is free, and joining our Group will always be free.

If you currently work in an environment that affirms you as a member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) and Ally community – empowering you to be yourself without concern about being “outed” to your colleagues – please consider joining the LGBT Center of Raleigh Networking Group on LinkedIn. Being a member of the group can help you encourage others and explore other opportunities to work in a welcoming environment. Many of the people you know at the LGBT Center of Raleigh are already utilizing LinkedIn.

There are four main advantages to joining LinkedIn:

  • Establish a Professional Profile viewable by HR/Management individuals
  • Stay in touch with old and new colleagues
  • Identify key leadership within prospective business opportunities
