Please join us for a fun afternoon of dancing, socializing and just plain hanging out on the Penthouse Floor of the Clarion Hotel, Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 7:00. In response to your many requests, the Gay & Gray Initiative is planning a disco and rock dance on the top floor of the Clarion Hotel in downtown Raleigh. Our event will be a part of the week-long festivities connected with the third annual "Raleigh is Coming Out" festival. There will be heavy h'ors d'oeuvres, a cash bar to wet your whistle, a great DJ to keep us rockin' and rollin', and one of the best views of downtown Raleigh. We're gonna have a blast and you won't want to miss it. If you don't feel like dancing, there will be a quieter area to sip a glass of wine and chat with friends. The tickets are $15, and may be purchased at the door or by registering below.

Have you ever wondered what your housing situation will be like in your later years? Did you ever think that you might like to live in an environment where your neighbors would share your lifestyle and they would be interested in your well-being as much as you would be in theirs? Are you concerned about being able to afford a place to live as you get older? Join us for a seminar given by Durham architect and developer Pat Harris. Pat has been giving this subject a lot of thought over the last few years, and she has come up with some possible solutions for our community. After a presentation where Pat will share her ideas with us, we will open the floor up for a discussion and question and answer session.
