Fears vs. Dreams Project

Everyone has a story to be told. For the spring semester of 2012, Elizabeth Dufault, an intern at the LGBT Center of Raleigh, will be working on a story gathering information and an accompanying photo expose with the theme “Fears vs. Dreams.” The intent behind the project is to exhibit a broader lens into the LGBTQ community, to break down stereotypes, and to shed light onto the individual as a person. As we all know, there is a great deal of stigma associated with identifying as an LGBTQ individual, and with this project as a tool, she hopes to show that there is nothing more beautiful than being happy with who you are. She is looking for volunteers from ALL backgrounds who are interested in telling your story and to help contribute to her photographic expose on intersecting identities.

If interested or if you would like more information, please contact Elizabeth at .
