The LGBT Center of Raleigh is physically closed for programs due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but we continue to meet virtually! Those virtual offerings can be found here. If you have questions or are seeking resources, you can call 919-832-4484 seven days a week between the hours of 12pm and 4pm, and your call will be answered by a staff member or volunteer, or you can email info@lgbtcenterofraleigh.com.

We are holding HIV and STI testing at our new location at 19 W Hargett St in downtown Raleigh every Monday from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm.

    SAGE Raleigh is sponsoring this important workshop presented by Transitions LifeCare.

    Join us and be part of a national dialogue taking place that asks the question, "Have you and your family had the tough conversations and planned ahead?" This powerful film investigates the practice of caring for the dying and explores the relationships between patients and their doctors. It follows a surgeon, Dr. Atul Gawande, as he shares stories from the people and families he encounters. When Dr. Gawande's own father gets cancer, his search for answers about how to best care for the dying becomes a personal quest. After the screening, we'll have a conversation about the importance of taking steps to identify and communicate your wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences.

    We are requesting a free will contribution of $5 for this workshop. Refreshments provided. The topic of this workshop is important for SAGE members, our families, caregivers, friends and associates. All are welcome. You do not need to be a SAGE member to attend.
