    Description:

The UNC-CH LGBTQ Center has partnered with Carolina Union Activities Board to round out National Coming Out Day (October 11, 2018) with the iconic sounds of Be Steadwell. Be composes her music from a blend of genres into what she calls queerpop. In her live performances, she utilizes loop pedal vocal layering and beat boxing to compose her songs on stage.

Be's goal is to make queer love songs that speak to the whole world and she's outdone herself with her newest album aptly titled Queer Love Songs. Read more about the track list, which includes the opening track, "Greens" about feeding your beloved, "Sometimes," a song about being in love with a non-binary person. Read more about the album here.

The Concert is FREE and open to the public. It will be in the Frank Porter Graham Student Union Auditorium at UNC-Chapel Hill.
