    Description:

Nonbinary Tea Time is a monthly social meetup that alternates between the Durham LGBT Center and the LGBT Center of Raleigh! Hosted by Eric and Smote, the group is aimed mainly at nonbinary, genderqueer, and gnc individuals though anyone questioning and exploring is welcome to join us!

These meetups are designed to allow us to chill and just be ourselves. We bring tea and eat snacks, play games and chat about our favorite things! There's no agenda or goal of this group other than to create a space for us to have a good time.

Q: Can I bring a friend/partner/family member to the meetup who doesn't ID as nonbinary/genderqueer/gnc/etc?

A: We understand that meeting new people can be a lot and if you would like to bring an important person who does not identify as such, we only ask that you keep in mind that these meetups are not focused on our identity. While we don't necessarily avoid topics that surround issues we face, we especially would like to avoid being questioned about our identity or history. There are other venues to ask those questions.
