Express yourself! Come out to the LGBT Center of Raleigh’s award-winning OpenMic night and share share:
- a song
- a poem
- a personal story
- whatever else you can come up with!
You’re also welcome to just sit back and watch others perform!
Our OpenMic is also open food! The Center will provide snacks, but we invite you to bring something as well. Wanna show off your cooking skills? Wanna bring your favorite soda? Go ahead!
1st Saturday • 6:30pm
Socialize for a bit, then first act starts at 7pm. Performances runs until 10pm. Please keep in mind that OpenMic is acoustic when deciding what equipment to bring. Acoustic and small percussion instruments are probably best, although on occasion two small amps (one guitar and one bass) will be provided just in case. A television with DVD player is also available for film or performance artists. We welcome people of all ages, identities, genders, colors, and sports team preferences.
Recommended for ages 13 and over.
If anybody has any questions about equipment, call 919.832.4484 to leave a message for Tristan Smith.
