About Out! Raleigh Pride

Out! Raleigh Pride is hosted by the LGBT Center of Raleigh, and is our largest fundraiser of the year; this event funds the majority of our programs budget. Out! Raleigh Pride is an inclusive and family-friendly* action-packed event, with activities for all ages. The event is free to the public, and offers live entertainment, local vendors and artists, great food, a KidsZone, and a beer garden. Last year's event brought an estimated 85,000 people onto Raleigh’s Fayetteville Street to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, our friends, and families. In the last decade, the event has become an integral part of Raleigh’s downtown culture, promoting diversity, awareness, and a sense of inclusiveness for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Out! Raleigh Pride features hundreds of local vendors, with priority given for LGBTQ+ owned businesses. This provides unique exposure for local artists, restaurateurs, and artisans. ORP is also the largest fundraising event for the LGBT Center of Raleigh, and funds many of our 20+ programs each year for LGBTQ+ youth, families, adults, and our allies. We are one of the only LGBTQ+ serving organizations in Raleigh, so ORP provides critical support to the local LGBTQ+ community who seek our programs for access to services and social support. We serve thousands of LGBTQ+ people and allies each year through health and wellness, youth and family, social support, and case management programs. Now that we have opened our Community Center in downtown Raleigh for the first time since 2019, we are serving more community members each week.

As attacks on the LGBTQ+ community and our rights worsen, it is more important than ever for us to support each other and stand up for our vulnerable and marginalized neighbors. Many LGBTQ+ individuals have diverse, intersectional identities that are also under attack - such as gender, race, religious beliefs, neurodivergence, and more. That is why this year’s theme is #RallyRaleigh - it is a call to action for our allies and more privileged LGBTQ+ individuals to stand up for what is right, support the more vulnerable in our community, and get involved in local movements and mutual aid.

*Note: Friday, June 26th is for adults 18 and older; Saturday, June 27th is for all ages - bring the whole family!
