Bright eyed and effervescent, Annelle Staal sprouted wings in small town North Carolina. Staal’s writing is different—big, melodic and boundary defying. Their stage presence is fanciful, sultry, capricious. After a three-year long tussle with the Nashville scene, a solo tour canceled by the pandemic and 5 years of triweekly online music streams to follow, Annelle’s feathers are decorated by an international internet following and a voice that’s been refined to silk.
