  • Yes. The Center has a ramp at the front entrance, along with accessible interior pathways. The front door is approximately 35.5 inches wide, the bathroom door is 34 inches wide, and the interior ramp is approximately 51.5 inches wide. Entrances and hallways are designed to meet ADA accessibility standards.

  • Yes, but our storage space is limited, so we can only accept select items at certain times. Please contact us before dropping off clothing donations so we can let you know what we’re currently able to accept.

  • Yes! We are always in need of shelf-stable food and snacks for our Community Pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the Center during open hours.

  • Yes! Out! Raleigh Pride is hosted by the LGBT Center of Raleigh and is our largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from Pride help support the Center’s programs and services throughout the year. The celebration includes entertainment, local vendors, food, community resources, and programming for different ages and interests.

  • The Community Center offers free resources and space for the community, including our Community Pantry, clothing closet, Harm Reduction Kiosk, LGBTQ+ library resources, Cyber Center, snacks, water, coffee, and comfortable areas to relax or work. Availability of individual resources may vary.

  • We offer programs focused on community connection, health and wellness, youth and families, and transgender, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and gender-questioning communities. Offerings change throughout the year, so check our calendar for current programs and events.

  • Yes. The Center partners with Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina to offer free and confidential HIV/STI testing. Appointments are not required. Testing dates can vary, so check our calendar for the most current schedule
